It is our custom and policy at Preventive
Medicine Associates to have people who are
sick be seen as soon as possible. It may
not always be possible for you to see your
"favorite" or regular doctor,
but we will get you seen as soon as we can
depending on the severity of your illness,
the time of your call, etc.
Our office hours are from 8:45 a.m. until
5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. After office
hours, the doctors can be reached by dialing
the office and following instructions. Routine
problems, prescription refills, insurance
forms that have to be filled out, etc. should
be directed to the office during working
hours. Although the doctors can and do prescribe
medicines for patient's problems over the
phone, on nights and on weekends, it is
with the expectation of seeing the patient
subsequently in the office to follow up
in order to ascertain their response to
the medicine, their overall status, etc.
It is difficult and potentially dangerous
to diagnose problems over the phone without
seeing the patient and that is why we as
a rule, request the patient to follow up
with personal visits in the office.
Please
select
three preferred appointments. You will be
contacted by our office to confirm your
appointment date and time.
